7.75 oz jar. Picholine. These torpedo-shaped, brine-cured olives are a native to France. Picholine olives are considered as the most commonly available cultivar in the regions of France. It has now grown into a cocktail olive produced all over the world. It is also identified as Coiasse, Colliasse, Piquette, Plant de Collias. It has been bestowed with quite a number of local names from which it is produced. It is known for its asymmetrical shape and an open-shaped crown. Its stone has a smooth surface and are sharp in both ends. They are usually yielded in October and November. Picholine olives are famed as appetizers, garnishes in salads, martinis, and main courses.
